Dance Room

Dance is the hidden language of the soul.

• To develop the love for Indian heritage and culture through proper training of all types of dances including classical, folk and western dances, is provided to the students, by well-trained faculty.
• The walls are fitted with mirrors which provide a glimpse of each movement enabling the students to improve their posture and stance.
• We expect our students to develop versatility, a keen stylistic sense and the prowess to balance technical skills with creativity.

Music Room

Study without music is like food without salt. To enthuse the power of music,the well trained music staff guides the students in the music room.

Music, through its inherent ability to develop intellectual and emotional communication skills, encourages cultural awareness and enriches society.

The HHPS music curriculum provides opportunities for students to attain the knowledge and skills necessary to be become musically literate, well-rounded individuals.

The HHPS Music Programme of Studies is organized into four strands:

• PERFORM: Developing musicianship through singing, playing instruments, and moving to music
• CREATE: Using the notational tools of music to express ideas, thoughts, and feelings; includes individual approaches to improvisation.
• INVESTIGATE: Utilizing the study of music theory for music reading; analyzing the manner through which music is organized; making informed judgments about music and arts.
• CONNECT: Awareness of the commonality between music and other disciplines.

Music Study Is Essntial To The Education Process Because It Develops:

• Intellectual skills required to comprehend the language of music
• Interpersonal skills through participation in general music, vocal, and instrumental ensembles

ART & CRAFT

To develop the artistic sense among the coming generations, our students are provided with an Art and Craft Room where the students show their talent and ignite their creativity.

Creative activities are important for individual human beings. Learning and participating in arts like pottery, painting, writing, singing increases the happiness and well being of those involved. Learning art and craft helps make ours a civilized society, develops the spiritual side of our lives and promotes active citizenship. It also helps in enriching people’s lives empowering people, increasing health and well-being and greatly strengthening social capital.
